Administrative Assistant

Pay: $18-22/hr

On-site M-F 8-5

Position Summary

We are looking for a highly organized Administrative Assistant to support daily operations and assist with coordinating the relocation of household goods and personal belongings for our members. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and able to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or moving services is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to management and team members.
  • Coordinate customer move activities involving household goods and personal effects.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customers, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
  • Maintain accurate records, customer files, and documentation.
  • Review, verify, and process customer paperwork for completeness and accuracy.
  • Answer inbound phone calls, respond to emails, and provide timely follow-up.
  • Perform data entry and maintain information within company systems.
  • Manage schedules, appointments, and administrative workflows.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and other business documents using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Safeguard confidential information and handle sensitive data with discretion.
  • Adapt to changing business needs and shifting priorities.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to support operational goals.
  • Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Effective organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience answering multi-line phone systems, typing, and performing administrative functions.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of one year of administrative support and customer service experience.
  • Prior experience in the transportation, logistics, relocation, or moving industry is required.

Drug Screening and Background check required.
